Sometimes the best ideas come when you least expect them – and that's exactly how it was for us.

We are Fabian and Jana – just ordinary parents – and we love travelling with our little son Lars. On a trip through Australia in our van, we wanted to stay in a cosy Airbnb for a few days. During the day, everything was perfect: sunshine, adventure, freedom – a real dream holiday. But at night, reality set in.

There was no cot in sight – and the bed for us was already cramped enough. Completely exhausted, we considered letting Lars sleep on the carpet or putting him to bed in the suitcase. Neither solution felt right – and yet we couldn't shake the thought.

That was when the idea came to us: why not develop a suitcase that could be transformed into a safe, comfortable cot in a flash? We talked about it repeatedly during our holiday, developed the concept further – and even came up with a name.

Today, our suitcase bed is a reality. And it has become more than just a spontaneous holiday idea: it is a piece of home for when you are on the move, giving parents peace of mind and children a sense of security.

Because holidays and relaxation should go hand in hand.
